The Moving Toy Mechanisms website has been developed by Deborah Muirhead, a student currently studying towards a BA(Hons) Interactive Multimedia at Staffordshire University in the UK.

The piece has been developed to satisfy the brief for Hypermedia, a final year core module. The brief stated that an online learning artefact should be created in accordance with the guidelines provided by the National Grid for Learning. The artefact and its content has been produced to facilitate the learning of Design & Technology mechanisms at Keystage 2 of the National Curriculum.

The site has been created with the kind cooperation of staff and pupils at Redhill Primary School in Staffordshire, and under the direction and guidance of Dr. Melissa Lee Price at Staffordshire University.
